Keats-Shelley Prize
My poem 'Letters from Manuela' was joint runner-up in the Keats-Shelley Prize 2021. You can read it on the Keats-Shelley Memorial Association website, alongside the other prize winners. Please see this YouTube link for a beautiful reading of the poem by Polly Edsell.

Two other poems of mine were previously shortlisted for the Keats-Shelley Prize: in 2018 The Reforms of William Wilberforce, which is in the Poem Alone slot on this website, and Gunnlaugsson's Wilderness in 2010, published in my collection Waiting to Tango (Templar Poetry).

Trio of poems
Three poems – 'Suffragettes', 'Time by Shadows' and 'Age of Enlightenment' – from my current collection in progress were recently published on the Ambit website. You can read them here: https://ambitmagazine.co.uk/poems/poems-by-victor-tapner/
